Your course begins with ground school wing training - theory, videos and equipment introduction, then progresses to flat ground launching practice in our fly park.
Once basic skills have been developed, training takes place at Paragliding Canada's training hill. Always under the guidance of instructors, you will fly from a groomed hill at low altitude until you feel comfortable enough to progress to higher altitude launches.
After 5 days you will have a good basic knowledge, theoretical and practical paragliding skills.
All courses include modern equipment: paraglider, back harness, reserve parachute and two-way radio. Convenient location to the training grounds.
After completing the course you will receive
P1 Pilot Certificate
A launch and landing instructor will be included for 15 flights until you learn to land safely.
This course will put you about halfway to obtaining your P2 HPAC Novice certificate.
